|Features:||1. Superior transfection efficiency in both suspension and adherent HepG2 cells|
2. Does not require removal of serum or culture medium
3. Does not require washing or changing of medium after transfection
4. Low cytotoxicity
|Description: ||PrimeFect™ Transfection Reagent for HepG2 Cells is a biodegradable polymer based transfection reagent that forms a complex with DNA, and transports the complex into a variety of adherent and suspension cell lines. A remarkable feature of the reagent is the rapid and complete degradation of polymer after transfection complex endocytosis, leading to much less cytotoxicity.|
|Storage Condition:||Store at 4 °C. If stored properly, the product is stable for 12 months or longer.|
Comparison of PrimeFect™ for HepG2 and Lipofectamine® 2000 transfection efficiencies using GFP visualization
CHO cells were transfected with a GFP-expressing plasmid using either PrimeFect™ transfection reagent for HepG2 cells (left), or Lipofectamine® 2000 (right). Cells were visualized 48 hours post-transfection under fluorescence microscopy (GFP filter).
