Background
MUC4, also named as HSA276359, ASGP, MUC-4, testis mucin and mucin-4 is a high molecular weight transmembrane mucin that is overexpressed in many carcinomas and is a risk factor associated with a poor prognosis. MUC4 have a key role in the progression of pancreatic cancer. MUC4 helps in the docking of tumor cells on the endothelial surface. This antibody is specific to MUC4.
