Background

Enables 3-phosphoinositide-dependent protein kinase activity; phospholipase activator activity; and phospholipase binding activity. Involved in several processes, including cell surface receptor signaling pathway; regulation of protein kinase activity; and regulation of signal transduction. Acts upstream of or within intracellular signal transduction. Located in cell projection; cytosol; and plasma membrane. Implicated in prostate cancer. Biomarker of lung non-small cell carcinoma.

Images

PDPK1 antibodyWestern blotting analysis using anti-PDPK1 antibody (Cat#63385). Total cell lysates (30 μg) from various cell lines were loaded and separated by SDS-PAGE. The blot was incubated with anti-PDPK1 antibody (Cat#63385, 1:5,000) and HRP-conjugated goat anti-rabbit secondary antibody (Cat#201, 1:20,000) respectively. Image was developed using FeQ™ ECL Substrate Kit (Cat#226). PDPK1, 3-phosphoinositide dependent protein kinase 1.
Western blotting analysis using anti-PDPK1 antibody (Cat#63385). PDPK1 expression in wild type (WT) and PDPK1 shRNA knockdown (KD) HeLa cells with 20 μg of total cell lysates. β-Tubulin serves as a loading control. The blot was incubated with anti-PDPK1 antibody (Cat#63385, 1:5,000) and HRP-conjugated goat anti-rabbit secondary antibody (Cat#201, 1:20,000) respectively. Image was developed using NaQ™ ECL Substrate Kit (Cat#716).
Flow cytometric analysis of PDPK1 expression in HepG2 cells using anti-PDPK1 antibody (Cat#63385, 1:2,000). Green, isotype control; red, PDPK1.
Immunocytochemical staining of HepG2 cells with anti-PDPK1 antibody (Cat#63385, 1:1,000). Nuclei were stained blue with DAPI; PDPK1 was stained magenta with Alexa Fluor® 647. Images were taken using Leica stellaris 5. Protein abundance based on laser Intensity and smart gain: Medium. Scale bar: 20 μm.
