Background

The protein encoded by this gene is one subunit of a cleavage factor required for 3' RNA cleavage and polyadenylation processing. The interaction of the protein with the RNA is one of the earliest steps in the assembly of the 3' end processing complex and facilitates the recruitment of other processing factors. The cleavage factor complex is composed of four polypeptides. This gene encodes the 68kD subunit. It has a domain organization reminiscent of spliceosomal proteins.

CPSF6 antibodyWestern blotting analysis using anti-CPSF6 antibody (Cat#65204). Total cell lysates (30 μg) from various cell lines were loaded and separated by SDS-PAGE. The blot was incubated with anti-CPSF6 antibody (Cat#65204, 1:5,000) and HRP-conjugated goat anti-rabbit secondary antibody (Cat#201, 1:20,000) respectively. Image was developed using NaQ™ ECL Substrate Kit (Cat#716).
Western blotting analysis using anti-CPSF6 antibody (Cat#65204). CPSF6 expression in wild-type (WT) and CPSF6 shRNA knockdown (KD) HeLa cells with 20 μg of total cell lysates.
