Background

This gene encodes a protein that catalyzes the final step in the conversion of vitamin B(12) into adenosylcobalamin (AdoCbl), a vitamin B12-containing coenzyme for methylmalonyl-CoA mutase. Mutations in the gene are the cause of vitamin B12-dependent methylmalonic aciduria linked to the cblB complementation group. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found.

MMAB antibodyWestern blotting analysis using anti-MMAB antibody (Cat#65033). Total cell lysates (30 μg) from various cell lines were loaded and separated by SDS-PAGE. The blot was incubated with anti-MMAB antibody (Cat#65033, 1:2,500) and HRP-conjugated goat anti-mouse secondary antibody (Cat#101, 1:20,000) respectively. Image was developed using FeQ™ ECL Substrate Kit (Cat#226).
Western blotting analysis using anti-MMAB antibody (Cat#65033). MMAB expression in wild-type (WT) and MMAB knockdown (KD) HSHC cells with 20 μg of total cell lysates. Hsp90 α serves as a loading control. The blot was incubated with anti-MMAB antibody (Cat#65033, 1:2,500) and HRP-conjugated goat anti-mouse secondary antibody (Cat#101, 1:20,000) respectively.
