Background

This gene encodes a transcription factor which coactivates transcription of estrogen receptor responsive genes and corepresses genes activated by other hormone receptors or sequence-specific transcription factors. Expression of this gene is regulated by both members of the estrogen receptor family. This gene may be involved in the progression of several types of cancer. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.

PELP1 antibodyWestern blotting analysis using anti-PELP1 antibody (Cat#62501). Total cell lysates (30 μg) from various cell lines were loaded and separated by SDS-PAGE. The blot was incubated with anti-PELP1 antibody (Cat#62501, 1:5,000) and HRP-conjugated goat anti-rabbit secondary antibody (Cat#201, 1:20,000) respectively. Image was developed using FeQ™ ECL Substrate Kit (Cat#226).
Western blotting analysis using anti-PELP1 antibody (Cat#62501). PELP1 expression in wild type (WT) and PELP1 shRNA knockdown (KD) HeLa cells with 20 μg of total cell lysates . β-Tubulin serves as a loading control. The blot was incubated with anti-PELP1 antibody (Cat#62501, 1:5,000) and HRP-conjugated goat anti-rabbit secondary antibody (Cat#201, 1:20,000) respectively. Image was developed using NaQ™ ECL Substrate Kit (Cat#716).
Flow cytometric analysis of PELP1 expression in HAP-1 cells using anti-PELP1 antibody (Cat#62501, 1:2,000). Green, isotype control; red, PELP1.
