Background

Predicted to enable protein serine/threonine kinase activity. Involved in several processes, including early endosome to late endosome transport; phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase/protein kinase B signal transduction; and phosphatidylinositol-3-phosphate biosynthetic process. Located in late endosome and microtubule cytoskeleton. Part of phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase complex, class III.

Images

PIK3R4 antibodyWestern blotting analysis using anti-PIK3R4 antibody (Cat#65244). Total cell lysates (30 μg) from various cell lines were loaded and separated by SDS-PAGE. The blot was incubated with anti-PIK3R4 antibody (Cat#65244, 1:5,000) and HRP-conjugated goat anti-rabbit secondary antibody (Cat#201, 1:20,000) respectively. Image was developed using NaQ™ ECL Substrate Kit (Cat#716).
Western blotting analysis using anti-PIK3R4 antibody (Cat#65244). PIK3R4 expression in wild-type (WT) and PIK3R4 shRNA knockdown (KD) HeLa cells with 20 μg of total cell lysates. Hsp90 α serves as a loading control. The blot was incubated with anti-PIK3R4 antibody (Cat#65244, 1:5,000) and HRP-conjugated goat anti-rabbit secondary antibody (Cat#201, 1:20,000) respectively. Image was developed using FeQ™ ECL Substrate Kit (Cat#226).
Flow cytometric analysis of PIK3R4 expression in HepG2 cells using anti-PIK3R4 antibody (Cat#65244, 1:2,000). Green, isotype control; red, PIK3R4.
