Background

UFM1 is a ubiquitin-like protein that is conjugated to target proteins by E1-like activating enzyme UBA5 (UBE1DC1; MIM 610552) and E2-like conjugating enzyme UFC1 (MIM 610554) in a manner analogous to ubiquitylation (see UBE2M; MIM 603173) (Komatsu et al., 2004 [PubMed 15071506]).[supplied by OMIM, Dec 2008].

UFM1 antibodyWestern blotting analysis using anti-UFM1 antibody (Cat#65192). Total cell lysates (30 μg) from various cell lines were loaded and separated by SDS-PAGE. The blot was incubated with anti-UFM1 antibody (Cat#65192, 1:5,000) and HRP-conjugated goat anti-rabbit secondary antibody (Cat#201, 1:20,000) respectively. Image was developed using NaQ™ ECL Substrate Kit (Cat#716).
Western blotting analysis using anti-UFM1 antibody (Cat#65192). UFM1 expression in wild-type (WT) and UFM1 shRNA knockdown (KD) HT-1080 cells with 20 μg of total cell lysates.
