Background

The branched-chain alpha-ketoacid dehydrogenase complex (BCKD) is an important regulator of the valine, leucine, and isoleucine catabolic pathways. The protein encoded by this gene is found in the mitochondrion, where it phosphorylates and inactivates BCKD. Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.

BCKDK antibodyWestern blotting analysis using anti-BCKDK antibody (Cat#71137). Total cell lysates (30 μg) from various cell lines were loaded and separated by SDS-PAGE. The blot was incubated with anti-BCKDK antibody (Cat#71137, 1:5,000) and HRP-conjugated goat anti-rabbit secondary antibody (Cat#201, 1:20,000) respectively. Image was developed using FeQ™ ECL Substrate Kit (Cat#226).
Western blotting analysis using anti-BCKDK antibody (Cat#71137). BCKDK expression in wild type (WT) and BCKDK knockout (KO) 293T cells with 20 μg of total cell lysates. Hsp90 α serves as a loading control. The blot was incubated with anti-BCKDK antibody (Cat#71137, 1:5,000) and HRP-conjugated goat anti-rabbit secondary antibody (Cat#201, 1:20,000) respectively. Image was developed using NaQ™ ECL Substrate Kit (Cat#716).
