Key Features: | • Bright signals with low background • Wide variety of fluorophores • Great for many applications, like Fluorescence in situ Hybridization, TUNEL and more |
Description: |
Biotin-14-dCTP is a dCTP analog with biotin attached at the N4-position of the pyrimidine base by a 14-atom linker. This nucleotide can be efficiently incorporated into DNA by nick translation in the presence of dATP, dGTP, and dTTP, labeling DNA with terminal deoxynucleotide transferase, or random primer synthesis. The amount of material provided is sufficient for labeling up to 50 µg of DNA. |
Specifications: | 1. Concentration: 0.4 mM in 100 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. |
Applications: | Enzymatic indirect non-radioactive labeling of DNA during cDNA synthesis, PCR, nick-translation, random-primed labeling, or primer extension. |
